BondBricks operates as a marketplace platform connecting investors with licensed financial partners who hold Australian Financial Services Licenses (AFSL) issued by ASIC. Our licensed partners include Macquarie Capital, NAB, and Perpetual Trustees. These partners are authorised to provide financial product advice and deal in managed investment schemes. BondBricks provides the technology platform and marketplace services.

4. How We Are Remunerated
BondBricks generates revenue through the following fees:
Transaction Fees
We charge a 1.75% fee on all buy and sell transactions. This fee covers the cost of:
- Platform operation and technology infrastructure
- Regulatory compliance and reporting
- Customer support services
- Payment processing and settlement
Property Management Fees
Property management fees (typically 6-8% of rental income) are deducted from gross rental income before dividends are distributed to investors. These fees are paid to third-party property managers and cover:
- Tenant sourcing and lease management
- Property maintenance and repairs
- Rent collection and arrears management
- Regular property inspections
No Hidden Fees
We do not charge:
- Monthly subscription fees
- Account maintenance fees
- Performance fees
- Exit fees
- Inactivity fees
5. Staff and Representative Remuneration
Our employees and representatives receive:
- Fixed salaries and performance-based bonuses
- Standard employment benefits (superannuation, leave entitlements)
Our staff do not receive commissions based on specific investment products or transactions. This ensures unbiased service and removes conflicts of interest.
6. Related Parties and Associations
BondBricks may have business relationships with:
- Property developers and vendors
- Property management companies
- Real estate agents and valuers
- Legal and conveyancing firms
- Payment processing providers
Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed in property documentation, and all transactions are conducted at arm's length.
7. Professional Indemnity Insurance
BondBricks holds Professional Indemnity Insurance that covers the platform and marketplace services we provide. This insurance covers claims relating to technology platform operations and marketplace services.
Our licensed financial partners hold separate Professional Indemnity Insurance for regulated financial services:
- Each licensed partner maintains PI insurance that satisfies the requirements under s912B of the Corporations Act 2001
- Their insurance covers claims relating to regulated financial services including bond issuance, custody, and trustee functions
- Combined coverage provides comprehensive protection for investors
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected is used to:
- Process your investment applications and transactions
- Comply with KYC/AML regulations
- Provide customer support and platform services
- Send important account notifications

9. Complaints and Disputes
We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and efficiently.
Internal Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint:

- We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day
- We will investigate and respond within 30 days

10. Compensation Arrangements
BondBricks has arrangements in place to ensure retail clients will be compensated for losses or damage suffered because of breaches by BondBricks or its representatives. This is in addition to our Professional Indemnity Insurance.
